Inter-Community Council
The
Inter-Community Council, Inc. (ICC) represents AHA residents. The ICC
is comprised of resident leaders from each AHA community. As an incorporated
not-for-profit resident organization, the ICC works with AHA staff to
address residents’ concerns and to work on affordable housing and
social service issues. In addition, through the ICC, resident leaders
may locate resources to promote self-sufficiency for residents including
job skills training and educational opportunities. AHA resident participation
funds are allotted to the ICC in order to carry out a number of services
to our customers. As a not-for-profit organization, the ICC may also
accept tax deductible donations.
ICC Office
The ICC office is located on the first floor of Denney Tower, 250 W. Dougherty
St. Office housrs are Mon. – Thurs. between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m..
The ICC provides services to all Athens Housing Authority residents. Services
provided by the ICC staff include: notary public and copying services, household
pantry, and information and referral to social service agencies. For more
