Help Portrait Day is Sat., Dec. 5, 2015. This is a day when photographers around the globe will take photos of people in their community and gift them with the portrait.  For the fourth year in a row, University of Georgia photojournalism students will participate in this international event by taking photographs of AHA families. A photo studio will be set up by the students at the Rocksprings Community Center, 285 Rocksprings Court. Individual and family photos will be taken between 9:30 am and 3:00 p.m. Each family will receive a printed photo and a CD with the photo so other prints may be made. Individuals and families are encouraged to come early  in order to make sure all who wish to participate can have their portraits made. For more information, call 706-425-5367.
